The internal recruiter was very incompetent. I had to keep reminding him to send me links for the different stages of the interview process. One time, he sent the meeting link the same morning of the interview after confirming my availability the previous week (with no link sent then) and I still had to email him a reminder that morning to send the link before he sent it. The whole process was very disorganised and off-putting.
After 3 stages of interview, i spoke to the current product owner on the team who kept warning me to not come for her job which i thought was so weird because i was interviewing for a junior role and she was the senior product owner in the company. The interview with her was supposed to be a formality, their words not mine, to see if I would like to work with them because according to the VP, they have done all the vetting they would like to do on me and the last interview (4 stage) was majorly for me to see if they’re worth me choosing them as a company i'd like to work at (their own words).
It took them a month after my final interview to finally send a very generic and insincere rejection email after I have had to send reminder emails about feedback to the recruiter.
The entire process really stressed me out mentally as I had been searching for a job for over 8 months now and i felt like i was just taken on a ride for 2 months (yes, the whole process took 2 months of my time ( July - September) and I didn’t even get a personalised rejection email as per, a candidate who reached the final stage and was awaiting an offer letter.
