The interview consisted of 4 rounds. An initial call with the HR, Coding round 1, Coding round 2, Call with the Engineering team lead and Development team lead, Call with the CTO.
The Coding rounds focussed heavily on Object Oriented Programming.
Each Coding round was a live coding session where I was tasked to solve problems using Python and my knowledge of OOP was tested.
I was provided more than satisfactory and quick feedback after each round.

The process started really well, however, what happened later left a bad taste in my mouth. First, the internal recruiter reached out to me and we had a really nice conversation with good questions. There was also good communication prior to the interview too. However, I did not pass because the team did not select me for the next stage. This is when the plot thickens. I asked for more feedback and I did not get any response. Which is especially annoying since the email encouraged asking for more feedback and the recruiter went extra length to ensure that I would this role would be a perfect match for me.
So I checked on LinkedIn who visited my profile. The only person from Flexciton that visited my profile had much less experience and domain knowledge than me and clearly would not be my manager. Even more suspicious was that this person's professional activity indicated that he was aiming for the role I would be recruited for. All of this leaves a lot of room for speculation why the company would reach out to me. These practices are not uncommon, but just don't waste someones time and energy.

Currently, all our new hires we have forecasted is in line with our team's growth and career progression in mind, so we wouldn't hire for any roles unless we have a need for them.
