The task involved replicating a Figma design for both web and mobile views and recording a video explaining my thought process. Since I have solid experience in replicating designs, I ensured the layout matched the Figma specifications precisely and took the time to clearly articulate my reasoning in the video. Despite putting in several hours of effort, I later received an email stating that I was not shortlisted. It felt a bit unfair, as I would have appreciated at least some feedback on areas to improve or reasons for not being selected. I even followed but they least botherd to respond. I wasn’t expecting detailed mentorship, but even a short note on what could be improved would’ve been valuable. I believe constructive feedback helps candidates grow and refine their skills, especially when they’ve dedicated significant effort to an assessment.
