Frustrating communications, HR needs an overhaul. Got a request for a phone interview about a week and half after submitting my resume online. I read up on Glassdoor and did my research of GLG business model, but this talk was very focused on "you": tell me about yourself, why do you want to work here, how would your experiences match the job description. Even asked about my undergrad GPA (uhhh, it was 10 years ago, I obviously graduated and got my degree...)
From here, the person passes your information onto the "relevant department". He specifically requested that I "follow up" if I don't hear from him, so after a week, I did, to no response - then a second time, after another week, again to no response. (Guess I learned about rhetorical statements here.) A few months later, I'm e-mailed by another HR person for another phone conversation, and after I respond with my availability, complete silence. It's been two weeks.
Great! Thanks.
