I was offered a position with Gainwell on 2/17/23. I signed my offer letter on 2/22/23 and was informed by an offshore representative that once it was signed the background check would commence. I sent many emails to follow-up (all which I have included) because I knew I had a charge on my record that could easily be addressed as I am able to produce a letter from the United States District Courts ruling in my favor over the events that led up to that charge, as well as to confirm my start date. These were all ignored until Tuesday 3/14/23 when I was requested to provide my address. I then received a call 3/15 confirming my start date to which I had questions on and was informed I would immediately hear back on, again with no response.
I then filed a complaint on 3/16 as I have never seen that many professionals ignore emails. Within 45 minutes I was told I was no longer eligible for the position, and no one was willing to listen. I have already put in my notice and I am a single mother of two children. And then after telling me I’m no longer eligible the email was then recalled and I received approximately 5 additional emails asking me to fill out the hire paperwork which made it even worse. They obviously don’t know what they are doing and it’s left me unemployed, confused, and broken hearted. I would have been phenomenal at that job.
