I applied for a job through their website. After a few days, I received an email stating that they wanted to schedule a PHONE interview with me. They sent me a link in that email and I chose the day and the time. The interview was supposed to last around 30 minutes, but we were done after 10 minutes. I asked for feedback to the interviewer and she said that my answers were good. She also said that I should hear back from them in about a week. 3 weeks have past already and still nothing.
They asked about my background, why I wanted to work for Geisinger, any interest in career advancement or tuition reimbursement. They asked how I could be a good fit for the position and how I would contribute.

Laid back, extremely nice staff. Seems like a great floor to work at. I didn't get a lot of questions. Unit was clean. Hiring manager and a charge nurse interviewed me. They were the ones who talked mostly. I had to shadow for more than an hour.

I was both called and emailed through geisingers HR department and coordinated a day for an in person interview. The process was smooth and straight forward. Great directions and communication.
