This process took about 5 weeks total. Phone interview (30 minutes) Complete a work sample with 2 exercises (took roughly 2 hours) 1 video interview with the President + Communications Manager (1 hour) After three weeks of silence following the video interview, I checked in for a status update, and the hiring manager got back to me within two days stating that they have decided not to move me forward in this process. The folks that I met with were lovely and the mission of the organization is clearly incredible, but it was a bit odd to be ghosted for 3 weeks; maybe this paints that the organization doesn’t really have strong processes in place for hiring (or lack the capacity to put these processes in motion)? The process moved pretty quickly though, aside from the last 3 weeks of silence. And just in case it helps - they were hiring for this position in October 2021 between 55k and 70k. I believe they’re working towards publicizing salary ranges in their job descriptions, but just thought I’d go ahead and share that information.
