J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Geolog International (Aberdeen, Écosse)
Entretien
Initially had a short (10 minute phone interview), which was very basic and mainly to assess your willingness to work offshore.
Was then invited to a day-long recruitment session. This kicked off with a company presentation which was very open and outlined the pros and cons of an offshore lifestyle. This was followed by each candidate giving a 3-4 minute personal presentation and a aptitude test which covered geology, physics, maths, logic etc.
There was then a approx 30min one on one interview. This was fairly relaxed, focused mainly on your motivations for working offshore and a brief CV run through.
The running theme throughout the day was to determine who was cut out for a tough offshore lifestyle. The hiring managers were very down to earth and approachable throughout the day.
