I had a virtual interview, and felt it went okay. They called and invited me to do a campus interview. They did a thorough check of my references, and asked them all to write letters before moving forward. The interview questions were typical, and fair, so nothing out of the ordinary for the position. Their search failed, and they didn't end up hiring anyone.

Was very well! The interviewers were very nice and seemed cordial. The interview as also lasted within an hour of it starting. The interview questions also seemed very fair in regard.

I had only one interview, which took place over the phone with just one professor.
I believe they were trying to replace someone who had accepted their offer but suddenly changed their mind. As such, the department needed to find a replacement instructor quickly.
