J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 6 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez GitLab (Dunedin, ) en mai 2019
Entretien
The interview process was definitely an interesting one as I've never applied for a remote position. I didn't quite know what to expect. I had to fill out a questionnaire initially, and then I had a series of interviews over 6 weeks. Each interview was between 45 mins - 1.5 hours.
1. An initial meeting with their recruiting manager
2. A technical meeting with a senior engineer
3. A meeting with the support manager
4. A meeting with the support director
In all the meetings, everyone was very friendly and genuine, which made the interview process very pleasant and I was able to feel at ease while talking with the interviewers.
They do expect you to read their handbook (which is giant), but I was only quizzed on the company values, so hint hint to others, pay attention to this specific part.

It was a bit harsh, I passed the technical interview. I was able to solve all the issues but then got a one word regurgitated message from a recruiter telling me I didnt pass that stage.

Troubleshooting different Linux logs in a GitLab failed instance
It was great. The process had multiple stages and took a while, as they are genuinely focused on finding the best talent that truly matches their unique team atmosphere and culture.
It started with a fair first assessment, followed by a recruiter call, and concluded with a technical interview that involved troubleshooting scenarios. The interviewers for this round are team members.
