They had a two part hiring process. The first part consisted of the basic interview questions and I was told about the store, then shown around very briefly. They test your competency to speak, discuss, explain the position's task in detail and ask if you can handle it. Every employee needs to have a background check, a child abuse check and clearance, and a medical check. In the 2nd part, you come in and if they've decided on you, you take the drug/alcohol test and begin signing all the paperwork. The fees of these tests come out of your pay for the next year (you won't be allowed to pay for them upfront).
