I did three interviews for the store manager position, which were agreeable seemed like there was some good support in management. They said that just based on my resume even though I interviewed well they wanted me to go for an assistant manager position in a different location to gain more leadership experience. So one final interview, after having passed the higher evaluations. The woman should not have been in a position to hire anyone, she told me she wouldn't hire anyone over 30 as they ruin the atmosphere. She also told me she would hire me during the interview for the position and then I got an automated email saying I was passed over that night.
