I had a really disappointing experience with Gophers Lab, and I feel it’s important to share this so others are aware. First, it took them 15 days just to schedule an interview, which already felt like a lack of seriousness. When the interview finally happened, it was supposed to be 1 hour long, but the interviewer, Jitendra, ended the call in just 15 minutes. He gave me a very basic question, and as soon as I opened Go Playground and created two simple structs, he suddenly said, "Okay, this is from my side," and ended the interview. He barely gave me 2 minutes to work on the question — how is that fair? How can a company evaluate someone in just 2 minutes, especially when the scheduled slot is 1 hour? It felt extremely rushed and unprofessional. After the interview, I tried following up with HR. She ignored my calls at first, and only responded after several tries, saying "the interviewer hasn't given feedback yet" — and this was even a week after the interview. Seriously? This kind of behavior shows a clear lack of respect for candidates’ time and effort. If you're not serious about hiring, please don’t waste people's time. And Gophers Lab — please look into this, especially the behavior of your interviewer Jitendra. Also, I honestly don’t understand how this company has a 4.9 rating on Glassdoor. My experience was nothing close to that.

I applied through LinkedIn for Golang developer role in Coimbatore location, they had 2 technical rounds. In the first technical round they asked questions from basics of Golang, goroutines, channels and asked to do some implementations. In the second technical round, they asked me to implement 2 leetcode problems, then some basic db and devops questions. I solved both problems and answered almost all the technical questions. Both of these rounds went well, interviewers made me comfortable throughout the interview process. But after completing these rounds, there is no updates from the HR for next 1 week, they didn't even picked my call, then I received a text message that they are not going to proceed with my profile with zero reasons mentioned. With my personal experience, I would suggest not to waste your time on this company.
