I applied through an consultancy. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gramener (Banglore) in May 2016. Interview process taken 25 days. First round Skype call with someone in the same role (Data Consultant). This conversation mostly revolved around me trying to understand from him what the role is about and a little bit on my analysis. It was very positive. I was then set up for a Skype video interview with a Senior Manager. This was a 40 minutes interview which involved a detailed conversation about my prior experience, suitability to Gramener and a real time data analysis on a new dataset provided by the interviewer. The conversation was positive and then the HR got in touch mentioning there would be a final face-to-face with the Co-founder and Vice President which would mostly involve salary negotiation. This interview they were trying to ask me how best can I assist them and I spoke about what I understood about the role from my first telephonic and how my experience would be in line. They asked for my salary and asked if I was particular about a raise. When I said yes, they mentioned I don't have data analytics experience and it is important for them and they can't take the process further. They knew about my salary earlier, and in all the rounds checked my analytical ability and in the end, mentioned I don't have data analytics experience to make an offer. This reeks of no planning on their part and wrongness in wasting my time.

The Interview involves 3 rounds 1. SkypeInterview I 2. Skype Interview II 3. Managerial Round In the first interview, the ask questions related to Python and Javascript and they basically will ask you to share the screen and right the program. Apart from that, they will ask basic concepts of programming lab=nguage In the second interview, somebody will senior role will take the interview and again you will be asked to write the program while sharing your screen. Along with that questions related to visualization will be asked. I was done with the first two rounds but the third round hasn't been scheduled yet, its been 2 weeks. The HR is just procrastinating.
