I applied two months ago before getting a call with the initial phone interview. However, ever two weeks since I sent in the application I would send an email reminding them of how interested I was in the position and that I'd love to set up an interview. After the phone call, I was asked to come in to do a face to face interview. We set the interview date for a week and half later. I interviewed with three people, the recruiter for the editorial department, a supervisor for image designers, and then an image designer who showed me the programs they use. Work culture is super laid back and comfortable. They have some of those exercise balls and sit on those instead of chairs sometimes. When I walked in employees were working on a photography set and having a good time. After the interview, I sent a follow up email with a list of references. Within three hours, they had checked all references and called me immediately with a full time offer. Talk about fast! I accepted and we set a starting date.
