Submited my application in May, didnt get a call for an interview until end of August. Manager at the time basically assured me their wouldnt be any lay offs since service was growing 30%, telling me if i do good i could be a permanent employee in 7 months. I did really good but their was a 0% chance after 7 months I would be a permanent employee. Didnt hear anything until September to take a drug test and a thurough background check. Mid October got a phone call where a contracting company talked to me and gave the opportunity for a 5 year contract, only to be layed off after a year.
