My interview experience for the Dedicated Service Advisor role at Gusto was truly outstanding. From start to finish, my recruiter and interviewers made me feel seen and valued as a person. My recruiter along with the 2 interviewers created a welcoming and supportive environment that felt less like an interview and more like collaborating alongside colleagues. They followed along with my responses, engaged with my experiences, and genuinely made me feel human throughout the process.
This was, honestly, the best interview I’ve ever had. It reflected Gusto’s collaborative culture and made me even more excited about joining the team.

Question 1
One of the key things they asked about was churn prevention—how I approach keeping clients engaged, building strong relationships, and sustaining long-term partnerships. They were very focused on understanding my strategies for client retention and ensuring that I could contribute to Gusto’s mission of supporting small businesses.
Had the interviews got gassed up by each interviewer then didnt hear back from them until 10 business days later with the stamp of not getting the job. Not sure how I could have done better.

Its a complete waste of time they string you along for a 4 stage interview in-person and in zoom, then give you false impressions that the position is yours just to wait a week to hear back that youre not getting the opportunity
