I interviewed at Gusto for a recruiting coordinator position in October, 2016. Overall the experience was positive and I got to walk around without shoes so that was a plus! It was a 4 hour interview consisting of a tour of the office, a 45 minute chat with a member from the communications team, lunch was then provided for 30 minutes, then I was brought back to the conference room and had a 45 minute chat with a recruiting manager, another chat with a member from the software engineering department, and finally another chat with an additional recruiter. The interview was long, but each conversation I had was different which was refreshing. There were a lot of prioritization questions and questions involving how I navigate around problems or issues that come up. I was also asked to explain how I would set up an office move, which was interesting. The only negative thing I have to say is that I didn't receive substantial feedback after my interview as to why they decided to pass. I always try to learn as much as I can from each interview based on feedback given, and Gusto didn't really provide that. I was more than qualified for the job and even asked at the end of my interview if there were any hesitations I could help clarify and everyone said none. Other than that, they take pride in an overall great candidate experience and I can definitely stand by that throughout my entire interview process.

Gusto interview process was straightforward. I had an interview with the hiring manager and then an interview with a team member. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Seems like they have an awesome culture with the company/ team.
