Two phone screens with HR, followed by a take-home coding test. After 4 days, HR got back to me with some nebulous follow up email telling me that they decided to go with other candidates. Not exactly forthcoming with feedback.

Entretien
During my first interview, I was not contacted during the scheduled time. It wasn’t until I took the initiative to email about the tardiness, that I found out that my interviewer wouldn’t be able to make our originally agreed upon time. We ended up conducting our interview 3 hours late. My second interview cold called me without any prior notice from the recruiting team. It wasn’t until halfway through the interview when I mentioned that I wasn’t aware of a scheduled interview prior to speaking, that my interviewer realized that I had previously noted my unavailability during that time. Each of these experiences flustered me and affected my ability to interview well. Quite frankly, it reflected negatively on the organizational skills of the company.
I ultimately withdrew from the application process due to the lack of information around compensation for the position. It is incredibly unreasonable to request 3 interviews, a technical assessment, and a 4 hour interview without informing the candidate of the salary for any given position. Each time that I asked for salary information, the question was evaded in a way that did not build trust in the organization. Equitable compensation begins with transparency at the organizational level and this was incredibly lacking during my interview process. The entire interview process with this organization felt both disorganized and fragmented.
