The interview process was extremly long. From the first contact to the rejection email took 5 weeks. I applied through a contact who works at HelloFresh and I bypassed the talk with the recruiter and immediatly had a call with another Producer at the company. Very standard meeting, introducing myself and my CV. I got through and had to prepare a task in 5 days. The task was to develop the planning for two big budget projects for HelloFresh. I did so and sent it. I received an email saying the task was very good and they would like me to chat with two other people, the Lead Producer and the Head of the creative department. I asked how long would my presentation slot be, to which I was told I didn't have to present the task. I went to the meeting and they ask me to present the task... I wasn't prepared but nonetheless I had presented it to a friend before so I did an ok job, even if I had to rush a little bit. Again, the feedback was good and there was not cricicism about the work, they even made sure to mention how the projects I tackled were being managed by 3 producers at the moment and are extremly complex. Again, they praised my work and told me they would be in touch until the end of the week. The 1st week passed and I heard nothing. I emailed my first contact and they assured me they would reply that week. The second week pass and again I didn't get any information. A third week passed when I finally got an email from a recruiter (Which I had never met, since I skipped that step due to my referal). This recruiter sent me an email saying I had been rejected. No explanation whatsoever as to why, and I didn't get any feedback on what I did wrong. The worst was the fact that this person wrote in the email how wonderful it was to have met me and how she was sad about me not continuing the process. Again, I never met this person so this was obviously a lie and just an automatic rejection email. Needless to say I was very disappointed and asked for feedback which I never got. This 5 weeks were a waste of time, and I urge everyone to stay away from this company, or to at least think twice before joining a group of people who seem to have very little interest and regard for you as a person and professional.
