I was interview for this position and told I needed 4-6 months front desk experience then could transition into that role. Not promised, but implied. Conversations were frequent about what I could to to transition when they had already hired someone else. Basically, it was a dishonest process and I have heard from other employees that this is the standard for this hotel.

A very brief phone interview followed by an hour long face to face with the GM. It was a very casual interview and focused mostly on what I could bring to the property.
