Entretien
The first round was a background/project discussion with the hiring manager, then two technical interviews about system design and API design, the questions were very valid real-world questions related to Hinge. The last round was behavioral.
There was an HR interview, a take home coding test, two design Interviews and then a culture interview. If not for the holiday break, the process would have taken one month.

Question 1
One interview asked to design the backend for one of their offerings, whole the other asked to design the API for another one of their offerings.
I applied online and a recruiter reached out to me days later. I first had a Codility technical assessment, then an interview with the hiring manager, then a 3 hour virtual onsite.
The virtual onsite was API design, systems design, and a behavioral interview. All of the technical portions were related to the app.
Everyone I met was really pleasant and genuinely interested in getting to know me. I had never really designed an API before, so I was weak in this area and didn’t get the job.
