I applied to Hobby Lobby online. I am testing the job market and have begun a job search. the interview consisted of a phone call from a recruiter. He was polite and friendly enough. Here are the job specs. Minimum 55 hours a week January - October. Holiday up to 80 hours per week! Salary range to start is $45K to $49K, they have a little area to work with in that range. They are very uptight about the relocation part of the interview. When can you relocate, where would you be willing to go, is there anything that would prevent you from relocating? They asked why I liked Hobby Lobby and why I applied - I told them I understood they were a value based business and had Sundays off for family. I was told there would possibly be times we had to work on Sunday as well. I was honest about when and where I would relocate. My advice to anyone taking their interview is to be honest. They will hold you to it when it is time to relocate. If you fail to do so, they have been known to terminate employment due to that. This job to me was no more than a bridge job and I would have continued looking. I hope this is helpful.
