I recently interviewed for the Senior Media Manager role at HomeServe and had a mixed experience. The process consisted of one virtual interview followed by an in-person interview, both of which were fairly straightforward and not particularly challenging.
While the interviews themselves were fine, I was really disappointed by the lack of communication post-interview. Despite following up multiple times for an update, I was completely ghosted—no feedback, no rejection, just silence. For a company of this size, I expected a more professional and respectful approach, especially after investing time and effort in the process.
Wouldn’t recommend applying based on the experience, the interview also gave the impression it was a very toxic place to work, challenging colleagues and struggles working collaboratively was bought up many times. Disappointed that the person interviewing felt it ok to name a some of the weaknesses they felt a direct report of this role had, didn't feel appropriate!
