The first call was a zoom with the hiring manager and he asked a couple of general interview questions. We also discussed the roles responsibilities, the team structure, and team culture. The second interview was a technical interview with two engineers from Hudl. It was 60 minutes long and they let you use whatever language you want. It’s not difficult, there’s no advanced algorithm stuff to it so if you can do some straight forward scripting with whatever language you’re using, you’ll be fine. After that interview, I exchanged emails with the recruiter 6 times over the next 4 weeks before I got ghosted. Sent multiple follow-up emails to the recruiter to confirm the status of my application and one to the hiring manager, with no response to any of them. I don’t take it personally at all when I get rejected, but I figure after you’ve already spent a collective 4 hours of their employees time that you at least deserve an email letting you know.
