There was a phone recorded interview followed by an hour exam covering responsibilities of the position that was then submitted online. The communication was very clear but there was no in-person or virtual experiences so it was very independent from the interviewer/exam reader.

Question 1
Why would you want to work for the Human Rights Watch?
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Human Rights Watch
Entretien
The interviewers were nice, the lack of communication was extremely frustrating. I had a basic phone interview to tell me about the position then moved to the final panel interview the week after. They gave me a lot of false hope by saying that I "stood out the most of all candidates" and am "so well spoken and passionate" and how the "organization would love to have me" and am "a great fit for us" and how they are lucky to have found me. The job was set to start 2 weeks after, and only after a month of no contact did I receive a rejection letter. They even told me they will keep me in mind for future roles and I emailed them twice for follow ups and questions and did not get any response back either. I interviewed for a similar role a few months after and was once again not alerted for a month regarding my status.

Question 1
What softwares have you used? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? What previous skills can you apply here?
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 6 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Human Rights Watch
Entretien
I submitted my application and was then invited for a recorded interview which okay. It was the normal interview questions you'd expect in any job interview. They then sent a written assignment a week later. The assignment was to be done in 4 hours then submitted. After the assignment I proceeded to next stage which was a panel interview. The interviewers seemed lovely. They said they'd get back in a week but they never did. I wrote an email 3 weeks later to ask and they never responded. For an organization that claims to promote human dignity, their behavior in terms of communication has been terrible to say the least.
