3 weeks, 3 interviews
1) 30 min conversation with Informatics Lead
2) 30 min conversation with Director
3) 30 min conversation with 4 different people on the team (2 hours total)
The interviews themselves were straightforward and everyone was kind, but the process was very sloppy. No one was sure whether I was supposed to hear from the recruiter which made me wary. In the end, I think we could all tell this job wasn't the best fit for me, but I still expected to hear back considering I spent 3 weeks doing 3 different interviews. I finally emailed the director and they probably told HR to send me a rejection email because I got a generic one later that day. I think it's VERY rude to turn down candidates who already went through the entire process in this manner, which is already a step above what they were planning to do (not following up with me at all). I'm not sure if this falls on the team or HR but overall an awful impression because of this.
