After a phone interview, I was invited to meet with the Sales Manager and the person I would be replacing (she was promoted.) After waiting in the lobby for 15 minutes, I saw an internal candiate leave the room. I knew this was a waste of time then. She told the receptionist that "it was hers." I thought the interview went well and I enjoyed meeting both of them. I sent both of them thank you cards and follow-up emails. I heard NOTHING. Which is so rude, but whatever. After a couple weeks, I recieved the generic you suck email. My commute both ways was over 100 miles and I was professional during this whole ordeal. I wish they would have been the same. Oh well.
