I went through 3 phone interviews, one with HR, another with the person that would be my supervisor, then yet another with the supervisors boss. I thought they all went well and the supervisor even ended the conversation by saying they’d call me back to schedule and in person interview and not to worry or think they’ve put me to the side if it took a little longer to get back to me because they’d be very busy in the weeks coming up. After that I didn’t hear anything from them for about 3 weeks. Then I received a rejection email. All those phone interviews ( which lasted 30-45 minutes each) just to be rejected and I have no clue why. I also don’t like that I was led on and specifically told I would receive a call to interview in person. When companies do things like that I always tend to think I dodged a bullet.
