Applied for the position and two days later received several emails about the next steps. You need to provide 5 references for surveys as well as complete a video interview consisting of 5 questions. You get 3 min to read the questions and think, and 1:30min to answer the questions.

1. Why are you interested in working at IDEA? How do you embody IDEA’s mission in your work?
2. We believe that background does not equal destiny; how do you apply this statement to your work?
3. We believe that self-awareness is one of the strongest predictors of overall success. With that in mind, tell us about a time you used self-awareness to realize you had a negative impact on a colleague.
4. At IDEA, we expect our students to achieve ambitious goals. In order to do that, every staff member at IDEA is held to the same expectation. Please tell us about a specific goal. What steps did you take in working towards the goal? What was the result? What lessons did you learn?
5. The role to which you are applying is not a remote position. This role requires you to work in person and on-site. Verbally, please indicate your response to this condition with a yes or no.

Entretien
The interviewers made me feel comfortable once they saw I was nervous. They explained the in classroom part of the interview and provided feedback after the experience. Once I went back into the classroom, I felt more confident in what I was doing.
