J'ai postulé en personne. J'ai passé un entretien chez IGA (Melbourne) en août 2016
Entretien
The interview was very easy, but this might be because I was just a high school student applying for a casual role. I was interviewed by the deli manager and the store manager. I was mainly asked about the times I was available, how I would be able to get to the store, etc
The interview process at IGA Deli was pretty straightforward. I started by submitting my application online, and not long after, I got a call for a phone screening. It was brief, just a few questions about my availability and why I wanted to work there.
Then, I was invited for an in-person interview. When I arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming, and the interviewer was friendly. They asked about my previous experience and how I’d handle certain situations with customers. I felt like they really wanted to know if I’d fit in with the team.
After the interview, I didn’t have to wait long to hear back. I received an offer and was excited to join such a community-focused place. Overall, it was a positive experience that emphasized both skills and personality.

Entretien
Casual and in person. Went to the store and had a conversation with the deli manager. Asked questions about me and what I liked to do (introduction type) and asked about previous customer service and food experience.

Brief, casual and very laid back. Not many questions, and had a quick 'tour' of the deli area and was introduced to other workers. There was some small talk and it was overall very pleasant.
