This was a multiple stage interview process with the manager and several of the engineers both in a group and 1v1. The company seemed pretty solid and the feeling was mutually very positive... until... A recently hired cloud architect completely blew off the first interview leaving me hanging then was late to the rescheduled one leaving a negative impression right off the bat. During the rescheduled interview several comments were made that stated his intentions and gave indications as to why he missed the first call and was late to the second. Essentially he wanted (someone else) to build the platform and spend his time in recreation rather than working. Lazy and shady at best and this will likely kill the good vibe intentions the company/team had. As such I decided to no longer proceed with INRIX and I assumed the feeling was mutual as I had not heard back from the recruiter after a couple of days. THEN 3+ months later I got a generic notification from their recruiting tool saying they were going with other candidates. Fine by me, like I was sitting around waiting for them but it is a little insulting to get something like that after so much dead air.
