Entretien
Submitted my CV online, then got invited for a site interview (with another candidate) that lasted about 5 h. First we were given a quick presentation about the company by a department head and and an HR representative. Then we were divided to complete a competency interview, then a presentation, lunch with everyone, then a scenario based interview, and lastly an HR interview.

Question 1
In the competency interview they asked stuff about surfactants, how to synthesize surfacants, some stuff about polymers, what's the pour point, and what are the challenges faced by Infineum. This was conducted with two people in the room "guiding" you to an answer. The HR questions was regular stuff such as, where do you see yourself in five years? what are your weaknesses? etc. The scenario based one was about how you would launch a new product, and the HR lady asked a lot of follow up questions.

Entretien
30 min Phone interview followed by 5 hour day consisting of 4 separate interviews. One technical - fairly basic chemistry/material science, one competency - around 10-15 questions, one 'surprise situation' and a presentation followed by questions.
Overall everyone was friendly, but 5 hours was just too much. By the final hour of competency-based interviews, I couldn't think on my feet when presented with a weirdly framed question. They did send me a feedback email 3 days later with this highlighted.

Entretien
A full day assessment consisting of technical, situational, and competency interviews and a presentation concerning independent research. Lunch and a site tour were included in the programme. All interviewing staff members were warm and friendly and the whole day was conducted with a sense of mutual respect.
