Recruiter contacted me for a brief phone interview. Recruiter then contacted me a few days later to schedule in person interview. I arrived 10 minutes early for interview and was brought right in. HR Director was nice and very talkative. He then accepted a cell phone call that lasted 15 minutes in the middle of my interview! I had no idea what to do with myself when he sat there talking on his cell phone!! He was so talkative and with the phone call, I was only able to thoroughly answer 3 questions and it looked like there may have been 10-12. Bad way to interview a candidate! When I was leaving, another candidate was there, he stated he would be in contact with me to set up 2nd interview with their head guy. I never heard back, not even a courtesy call to say "we've selected another candidate". HR needs to work on their interviewing skills!
