I applied through Jobstreet last September 18, 2018 (Tuesday) for the position of Junior IS Associate. On September 27, 2018 (Thursday), I received a text from the HR asking me if I am available for an interview that day and I immediately replied to her saying that I am available anytime on that day and then she again replied to me asking if I can go to there office for a Technical Interview in the afternoon and again, I replied to her that I can go to their office to have the Technical Interview . After 15 minutes, she then called me and had my initial/phone interview which lasted 20 minutes. When I was about to enter the bathroom, she called me again saying that my technical interview is moved the next day and said that I will be endorsed for a different position, which is 'Junior Associate System Analyst' because my skill set suites it better than the one I initially applied for and I said its fine. She also said that another HR will handle my application for this new position. And then later that afternoon, I received a call from the new HR who's now handling my application for this new position, giving me some insights about the job. The next day(Friday), I arrived at Ingram Micro and I was asked to fill up an application form before having my interview. After that, the HR introduced my to the Team Lead who's going to interview me. The interview is really fun and relaxing. Basic questions, questions about college life, thesis, internship and other stuff. On September 30 (Sunday), the HR called me, saying that I passed the Technical interview and the invited me for the final interview the next day (October 1). Of course, I said yes. The next day (Monday), I arrived around the area pretty early so I stayed in a convenient store for an hour and a half. And the time has come, my final interview. I had it with the director who very cool and very professional. At first, I thought its going to be nerve wrecking but its not. It was just like my technical interview. It is very fun and very chill. Talking about life, school, future plans, etc. After I had the interview, the HR asked me to email her a scanned copy of my transcript of records when I get home. On October 5 (Friday), I received an email saying that I didn't pass the final interview. I am very sad not only because I didn't make it but because I really want to work in Ingram Micro with those people. Everyone is so kind and accommodating, the 2 HRs, the front-desk staff, the team lead, the director and even the security guard whom I had a little chat with while waiting for the director. But I didn't regret applying in Ingram Micro because I still learned a lot from this experience. I still plan to apply in this company in the future because of my positive experience and hopefully, I could get a job offer haha! Thank you for this wonderful experience Ingram Micro Taguig.
