Ahead of time I was told what role I'd get, the interview itself as more of an informal chat between me and hiring managers. However after completion of the interview they sent me a DocuSign (Electronic Signature) offer with a different title and lower salary than what was agreed upon. This should have been a red flag enough for me, but I countered and told them I am not interested and they said it was a mistake. Later on it turns out this was a standard practice they would low ball people by 5K€ or more, and a lower title with a estimated increase within 6 months. Who would accept to go down in salary when changing jobs and then have it normalize within half a year? Disgusting business practice.
