We are very sorry to read about your sub-par experience with our qualification process. Nevertheless, you took time to give us some feedback and we really appreciate! We originally decided to put technical questions early on as an ice breaker, to help people not fluent in english or too junior to feel more confident ; they can hang on concepts and keywords they know. At heart, we are an engineering company and we are also passionate about the techniques and expertise required to build a product. It worked great to recruit our A-team of 50 people s far. Based on your honest and direct feedback, it appears that some UX/UI professionals consider that it is really important to talk vision, creativity and portfolio from the get-go. We will leave more room for the candidates to express their personal approach during the first encounter - as we were asking a lot of questions about it in the second one anyway!
