Approached by the recruiter and the whole process took almost a month. The whole process was not as described on their website. It says 4 steps and you will get an offer but in reality, you have 2 additional rounds in my case. One additional Tech interview and one additional Executive interview. I do appreciate the whole process even though it took longer and was more complicated than I expected but what I don't understand is the fact they invited me to talk to the COO. Then, in the end, they rejected me because of my lack of a slice of technical skills out of several other skills. Logically speaking, they could have rejected me right after the technical interview but they didn't. That decision wasted time on both parties and gave false hope to the candidate. That was a bad experience, the first thing. Second thing, I openly mention I need time to pick up scripting in Python in the team lead interview but they gave me a test about it in the technical interview nevertheless. Obviously, I failed and they said I need to think out of the box and I acted nervously. I think if you throw someone into the ocean and tell him to learn to swim, you cannot expect him to swim like a decent swimmer. Although I have to mention the professionalism of the recruiter, she has been working hard but that's about it.
