2 hr math exam followed by 2 hr mechanical exam. If you know a thing or two you can pass. The whole test was relatively ridiculous, the amount of details in at least half of the questions were so in depth it would take far to long to complete the whole exam in given time, especially without a calculator. You need to pass this in order to even get an interview.
I Passed the exam, got to the interview with the maintenance manager, and HR lady who was very nice to me. Keep in mind this job required 2 yrs experience. I have 3 in CNC maintenance. as well as CNC operation and PLC controls. The interview ended within about 10 mins after he realized I didnt have experience with LARGE motors. I quote " the motors you works on were this big (2ft) our motors are this big! ( to large to show with hands )." " Im looking for someone that can train the 4 guys I already have on my team"
To which I replied well i dont want to waist your time then.
Im sorry but 2 years experience im over qualified for, if you want someone with more experience then take that position down from all the job site you have it on. I wasted 6 hours of my life driving there twice and taking the ridiculous exam, only to have you tell me youre looking for someone with 2! years of experience to TRAIN your 4 person team!? Get real stop wasting our time with your shenanigans.

4 hour test before they will even see you, half the test has nothing to do with the job or any thing you would incounter on the job, when you get the interview it was nice, down to earth management, looking for long term employees
