The interview process was the most lengthy of my life, with a whopping SIX rounds! This included a quick “self guided” video interview to start, followed by a meeting with the recruiter, (2) with the COO, one with another trusted team member and then ended with a "meet-and-greet" at Starbucks. All 30 minute Zoom interviews, except for the first and last.
You'd think this would be torture. It absolutely was not! The whole process moved very quickly, from start to finish. They did not miss a beat, so definitely be responsive!
The recruiter, Alyssa, is a complete dream! She is funny and incredibly personable. It was immediately easy to be comfortable with her. She also makes herself available for any questions/concerns that may arise between Zooms and again is very easy to be candid with. I psyched myself out quite a bit by reading TONS of articles written by the COO prior to our interview. No surprise here: He is also awesome!
Each conversation I had made me more excited for what the company has to offer! The team is great and the HUMAN aspect is something I have not experienced before.
My number one suggestion is super cheesy: Just be yourself! If you are not comfortable being transparent or are quick to throw shade, keep it moving. They are truly on the hunt for people who’s skill AND PERSONALITY will work well with the rest of the team.
