Step 1: I was invited to do a one way interview, which was about 7 questions. Questions were simple, but it was weird recording yourself as a first step. Step 2: Initial screen with a recruiter on zoom. The recruiter was great and really went over the role and answered my questions throughly. This should have been step 1 instead of the one way interview. Step 3: The recruiter sent me a predictive cognitive assessment. 50 questions had to be answered in 15 minutes. Step 4: I spoke with the hiring manager over zoom. This is where things took a turn. The hiring manager seemed so rude and obnoxious. He just asked bunch of questions without actually having an actual conversation with me. While I answered the questions, he seem disinterested. I could see that he was just going through his open tabs on his screen. The questions were also very random and didn't pertain to the role that I was applying to. Overall I don't think the hiring manager came with a positive intent to hire for this position. I could just tell in the beginning with the vibes he was giving, that he was just rushing through the interview and just had a busy schedule for the day. My advice would be not to waste your time with this company. Even though I could do this role at a high level, I wasn't even given a chance. This is coming from someone that has done over 100+ interviews and has management experience at the top 100 companies

The job description varied from what was went over in the initial screening. A decent amount of information was omitted that felt like it could have easily been added. They were deal breakers which caused me to pull back from the remainder of the interview.

Interview guide given in advance. Made it through the 3rd Director Interview before finding out the position was closed. Disappointing to get through multiple interview rounds to be told they were switching priorities and the position I was interviewing for was closed.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

      1. Preliminary Interview: 1. Size of team you have managed 2. Experience with upsell 3. Have you worked with engineering on product requests? 4. Have you worked cross-functionally? 5. Experience working with MSPs 6. Experience working with external stakeholders 7. Management style 2. 1st Team Interview: Can you share some curiosity that led you to learn a new skill or area of knowledge? How do you incorporate feedback into your personal development or professional practice? Can you provide an instance? What do you generally hear? What has this feedback been? How has it changed over time with regard to you knowing an individual, or you crawling through your career, or your role changing, and the relationships that you have changing as well? What is one area that you've identified for your own personal or professional development, and what steps are you taking to improve in that area? Have you used your curiosity to solve a complex problem at work, and what was the process and the result? 3. 2nd Manager Interview: How do you ensure you understand what constitutes good service from the perspective of different clients? How do you know you’re delivering good service to that client, whether it be qualitative or quantitative? Can you please describe a situation where you had to manage a client's expectations that were not aligned with what could realistically be delivered, and how did you handle it? How did it play out long term? Did you eventually build or deliver what they were asking for? Can you please describe your approach to managing teams at multiple levels? How do you adjust your management style based on team maturity or skill level? Could you share an example where you had to manage a team through a significant change or challenge? What was your strategy for change? 4. 3rd Director Interview: Could you share one of the more challenging interactions you’ve had with a client, and how did you handle it? Did you have any major hiccups, or like, "Oh my god" moments? Was there a specific project or client where things really went south, and how did you handle and potentially turn around that relationship? When you had a conflict with another person or another team, how did you handle it? What was the result?

The interview process consists of an assessment and 5 interviews. They move fairly quickly through the interviews with the whole process taking about a month for me personally. The questions are primarily behavioral questions. Although you may get a couple of "weird" ones there wasn't anything to trip you up per se. The recruiters were very communicative, and they gave you the theme of the interview (process, people, client relationship, etc) prior to each so you have a chance to tailor your studying. They also give you a number of resources to review more info about the company prior to your recruiter screen. Assessment: It's a quick (timed) 10-minute reasoning assessment. It asks questions like what comes next in the sequence or pattern, etc. I recommend doing the practice test that comes with it. I'm not sure how much weight the assessment holds. It somewhat feels like a weed-out step for people who just don't want to do it. Recruiter Screen: General screen to tell you more about the company. They look to see if you've managed large teams, and worked with stakeholders. Next, you'll interview with an Ops Manager, a Director of Ops, a VP of Ops, and, finally, the Head of Ops. I typically heard about the next round steps within 24 hours and received my final offer within four days after my last interview. Overall very smooth process.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

How do you balance external and internal stakeholder needs when they're conflicting? Tell me about a time you had to lead a technical integration. Who did you work with, and what did you do to make it smooth? (hardest question I got) Talk me through how you lead your team through ambiguity. How do you manage team members, and does that vary depending on the level they're at? Tell me about a time you had to create a new process or offering for a client, what steps did you take? What do you do if a client asks you for something you are unable to accommodate? * In general, you should focus on studying questions about internal and external stakeholders, client relationships, implementing processes, your management style, managing large/remote teams, and time management. You got this!
