3 step interview process:
1. Phone interview: talked to HR about skills and qualifications I listed on my resume. Lasted for maybe 6 minutes and was fairly standard.
2. Take home software assignment: make an app that does X things with a list of technologies you've never used before. They basically wanted to make sure I could learn quickly and adapt to the constant influx of technologies seen in software. After I finished the app, I had a follow up video conference where I showed them a demo of the app and went over the code and my design choices.
3. On site interview: talked to a variety of people at the company, mainly people on the software team or people that interacted with the software team. Was way chiller than I'd anticipated and mostly just friendly conversations about daily life at the company and the expectations for the role.
