Entretien
2 Rounds of interview were conducted:
First one was with a Team Lead
Second was with Project Manager
Then, it was followed by HR Discussion
The process was very smooth and the interviewers were polite and courteous.

Question 1
1. Scenario-based questions were asked like a scenario was given and I was asked to provide top 5 Scenarios for this situation, like setting up of an ATM
2. Basics of Java
3. Basics of Selenium
4. Explain Page Object Model/Cucumber BDD based on experience of the resource
5. Explain the various components of a Testing Framework
Interview process was smooth. First technical round was of medium difficulty with focus on core java concepts. Second was technical cum managerial round. Followed by an HR discussion regarding compensation.

Entretien
An initial telephonic round was conducted with an IT manager which took place for almost an hour. Various scenario based questions were asked and it was a very insightful conversation with the person. The call ended on a very positive note with the person clearly mentioning that the application will now be sent for the next round. I even got the same feedback via the referral I had applied through. 5 days passed by and no update from the HR regarding the same. I emailed asking the outcome for the same to which the HR replied that the application was rejected. Now this clearly stated a scenario of miscommunication between either of the HR and Manager. Applications do get rejected but at-least the correct reason should be stated. Not a fair experience.
