Interview started with a 1 hour phone conversation. The company background and history was discussed as well as some of their products. Then the position and job description were gone over, and I was asked questions related to the roles and responsibilities associated with the position and to give examples of situations where I used any of the softwares or skills mentioned. The interview process was to next consist of a design test and then after that, a panel interview to discuss my approach to the design test and additionally interview me in person. I was told they were looking to hire relatively soon. Within a 2 week period and that they would be interviewing candidates one after another in a single day. I was told the design test should take between 30min - 3 hours with the expectation it would likely take around 1-1.5 hours. After completing the design test promptly, I was sent an email asking what my salary expectations were. They had told me on the phone they paid very competitively and above market value. I sent back a response requesting the market value for the area with a link to glassdoor's salary calculator for that position for that area to provide a justification for how I came to that figure. After that, I never heard back. The date they had planned the interviews to happen came and went and still I received no response. I suspect they have likely hired someone by this point, but it's generally a good business practice to respond back to emails and also notify candidates if they are no longer being considered for a position. Based on my interactions, I still think Ironnet is probably a nice place to work with good benefits and they seem to have a lot of fun outings. It just would have been nice to not be ghosted.
