I went through a very frustrating process with this company. After receiving a verbal offer, I was never told the role was contingent on a client contract being signed. That critical detail only came up much later. Had it been communicated upfront, I would have made very different decisions.
What followed were weeks of delays, vague updates, and poor communication. A temporary contractor option was offered as a solution, but that also fell through without a clear explanation. Each time I was told things would be rescheduled or finalized, I heard nothing back unless I followed up myself.
Ultimately, the job never materialized. After more than a month of waiting, it became clear that this was not going to happen. I have never experienced an onboarding process this unclear in my professional career, and it has left me in a bind.
On a positive note, everyone I spoke with during the interview process was professional and personable, and I genuinely liked the people. Unfortunately, the lack of transparency, planning, and communication overshadowed that.
Advice to the Company: Be upfront with candidates about roles that are contingent on client budgets or contracts. Do not present offers until those pieces are finalized. Clear and timely communication goes a long way in building trust.
