A flurry of emails, phone screen, project, in-person interviews. The project was pretty interesting and I enjoyed it a lot. The interviewer provided pull request comments to the project, which I thought was a brilliant way to interview someone, as that's the way you might work with them if you hire a candidate. The in-person interviews were a little intimidating because two engineers are taking turns asking you questions. Applicants might feel a lot more at-ease if it's just one engineer at a time, and that's consistent with how other companies generally conduct in-person interviews.
