      Entretien

      I was an applicant with no prior insurance background, but the company is very open to welcoming in talent from all backgrounds! The interview process was quick — it only took about a week. There were three interviews, a shadowing session and an online assessment. The first interview was with my wonderful recruiter (shoutout to Kenney)! We discussed my resume, college experience, extracurriculars and a general overview of the job. I was asked to take the online assessment. Once that was submitted, I was invited to the next interview and shadow session. In the shadow session, we went over the details and expectations for my role as well as the training timeline. The second interview was with a sales manager, and it was more focused on my specific roles and responsibilities in my former jobs, education, and I how I would apply them to my job at Jerry. My last interview was with one of the founders of the company. This interview was very similar to the second, just more detailed. Following the interview I was offered the job! Everyone was very helpful and welcoming throughout the entire process. I was given the opportunity to ask questions during every interview, and my recruiter, Kenney made sure to check in with me every step of the way.

      The interview was really bizarre. I was interviewed by a lady named Gaga, and she constantly asked me about how my previous metrics at old positions were calculated, which is something I couldn’t answer because how am I suppose to know that? All I know is I had metric goals I either met or exceeded. When I tried to speak on my strengths and abilities and how I could bring value to Jerry, she would again make the conversation about how my previous company calculates metrics. Is the fact I exceeded the metrics not enough? Very weird interview & I was extremely confused when it was over. I’ve never had a recruiter ask me questions like that.

      The interview process was smooth and explained extremely well. My first interview was with Tomoka and she was helpful and informative while answering my questions about the position and overall created a comfortable environment to talk about the company. The second interview was with Chris, he was newer with the company but was still able to answer my questions and gave a unique perspective on his time with the company as a new hire.

      Entretien

      The interview was extremely bias. The interviewer kept dropping hints about the companies politics and said I would only be hired if I fit in with their culture. They have no benefits it’s a contract position and I failed the interview because I didn’t have the correct response to our Florida team likes to go to parades together. Not only is that extremely inappropriate I work to earn a pay check and do not hang out with coworkers after work. I’m married and I have a life.

      Thank you for your feedback. We do look for cultural fit in all of our candidates. We also create opportunities for in person meet-ups for our mostly remote workforce. One of the most common requests from our team members are opportunities for in-person meet-ups. We create these events on demand at times that work with our team members' personal schedules. We do believe it is important to meet colleagues in person for the development of relationships and camaraderie in the workplace.
