4 stages, 3 via zoom, last one in person with a panel of 5. Mostly mid-level management. Long gaps (weeks) of silence by their recruiters between the interviews. They really focused on why you want to work at Joby, and any answer that didn't involve "joby is the best ever and I want to work for joby and nobody else" didn't seem satisfactory and they'd ask the question again with different phrasing! Be prepared for a comically low offer, or a rejection due to your asking amount.

Contacted by recruiter for x role. 1st phone screen went well, then moved on to engineer, where I was asked a few questions that did not fit with the job description, answered to the best of my ability and then received a rejection.
Went back on the career website later and realized the questions they asked matched up with another role on the same team that did not fit my experience at all, whereas I met all the requirements for the original position I was contacted for.

3/4 Stage Interview process where you'll meet with the recruiter, future coworkers, your direct report, and a senior leader. Was a very fast process and always checked in by the recruiter. Expect to know your resume very well and be prepared for technical questions pertaining to the job posting. Was given an offer but unfortunately had to decline for personal reasons. The team was very nice to talk to and helpful during the process.

The whole process included a phone screen with the hiring manager, technical screen with the hiring manager, and an on site panel presentation. The panel lasted 5 hours, which included an hour for lunch.
