J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 5 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Jones Day (Londres, Angleterre) en janv. 2026
Entretien
Really great interview process: they let you talk to a trainee to learn about the firm – this calms your nerves and gets you used to talking through a screen and also allows you to sort out any technology issues (which I had, I was annoyed to have missed this part because of it). The actual interview was conducted by two employees who were very kind. The experience was incredible, and I preferred it to other interviews, where it can be robotic. I'd say the interview is tough because they push you to show your full capabilities, which is also a good thing. I really enjoyed the whole thing and it taught me a lot.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
The interview was very casual and the questions you'd expect come up, such as "Why Jones Day?" "Why Commercial Law?", "Discuss a transaction that has interested you lately.", and then they asked me some follow up questions about that case to test your understanding and grit.

Entretien
For the first-stage virtual interview I spoke to two partners about my application and CV. This interview also included case-study style questions about which of the firm's practice areas would be involved in an acquisition.

Question 1
Do you have any concerns about training at Jones Day?
I interviewed online for a vacation scheme at Jones Day. The interview felt somewhat informal, and it was with a partner and an associate. The questions were strength based and motivational. The interview was very conversational and lasted around 45 minutes.
