You apply online and they reach out to you for the first phone interview. In the past it was a series of two interviews: one brief phone call (30 min) and then a sample teaching lesson as well as meeting with heads of schools. Now, it is a phone interview (30 min), you are then asked to submit a writing sample and sample recorded teaching lesson, and then you will have interviews with heads of different KIPP schools if you pass.

First a telephone conversation, then followed up with an in-person interview. During the phone conversation though, there was much talk about my background experience and the area of my degree.
